this is my first project with wood and acrylic together
worked out better than expected
Instruction
Step1: Text and form
create a circle
I readjusted mine with 150mm
I used Life Saver bold as the headline font
and dancing script underneath
are both fonts that come with XCS
now select everything and choose horizontal aling center
Step2: Flower Power
on the side there is the menu "shape"
here you can find many nice symbols
under Plant you can also find beautiful plants
click on this and they will be inserted in your workspace
here you should make sure that the stems etc. are not too thin, otherwise there may be problems when cutting them
Step3: Remove overhanging
as you can see here the one flower has 3 oval elements at the top we have to remove them because they would fall off when we cut them out anyway
for this we click on edit node
click on both nodes and press delete
do the same with the others
then click on done on the right side
Step4: Naming and tips
write the names under the flowers
click on the flower and the name underneath and align both
group them
do the same with the other page
then click on both groups and select horizontal alignment center
you have to ungroup them again as we are printing the flower separately
but this serves as an illustration for the finished project
to keep the shape select the things that are acrylic and deselect the output in the top right corner
Step5: assembling
it's best to lay out all the things the way you want them as a finished product
then take each one and glue it on and let everything dry
