Do you want to engrave your plastic bottle? Then why not try these instructions that show you how to put a floral letter onto your bottle!
Instruction
Step1: preparation
To prepare your plastic bottle and to ensure that the flower letter and other lettering and images look good, black paint is spread over the entire surface of the plastic tumbler before engraving. This will give you a better contrast afterwards!
TIP: Use as soft a brush as possible to spread the colour evenly over the surface!
Step2: Engraving
The next step is to align your laser! You need the rotary tool and have to set it to the right diameter. Also remember to adjust the height! The red laser dot must be in the centre of your tumbler. The black painted area should also be at the top, with the red dot at the bottom. Rotate the tumbler a little if necessary! Now you can move a frame and check whether your design (your picture or your flower letter) is actually within your black painted area.
With the above settings, you're ready to go!
Step3: Finishing
The last step is fun and reveals the result pretty quickly! You can wash the colour away again with water. Above you can see a before and after picture. What remains is a part engraved into the plastic with a slightly black colour!
