you can also set the outline to 0 so that it cuts off right next to the engraving, but i like a little white border

i used acrylic pens here because you can work better with such small details 
test on another piece of wood first to see if the color is the way you want it 

when gluing I made sure that the fears are also slightly crooked at the top in order to
