4 Shot Glass Designs and engraving tips
With their small size you'll want to use engravings that look good at small sizes.
I suggest up to 30mm wide which allows the entire design to be seen all at once and the F1 Ultra handles this size well.
If you go wider than that the glass has to be rotated the see the full design and you lose some the initial wow effect. It also makes it hard to photograph for customers to see what they are getting.
Pick some favorite sayings and design them within your 30mm wide limitation. You can also go simple here and make some Mr. and Mrs. shot glasses or personalize it with the names of people in the group.
OR I've included a few possibilities in the files that you can select from and also use as inspiration for creating more:
These can get you started and help you think of more fun ideas, too.
The shot glass will engrave best if you can level it so I recommend using a jig (there is another project with jig plans if you don't have one yet).
Focus the laser and then close the Ultra's shield.
Refresh the image and use that to center the design on your shot glass.
For engraving I recommend Power 50 Speed 1000 Pass 2.
After engraving I used a little Dawn Power Wash to clean up the engraving and they came out shiny and perfect!
