Information

I needed a birthday gift on short notice. The recipient had asked for money. Giving money in an envelope inside a card doesn't seem very appealing to me, so something else was needed. I laser-engraved a gift consisting of three parts, into which one or more banknotes can be placed.

First, I created the design in the software. All parts are cut out, except for the text, which I engraved.

The following settings I used:

Laser Cut: 97 - 5 - 1

Laser Engrave: 70 - 175 - 100 - 1

Subsequently, the laser-cut parts are removed from the laser and arranged appropriately. For gluing, I used Ponal Express. In the first step, I glued the back panel and the intermediate piece together. In the second step, I attached the front piece (with the frog cutout) to the other two pieces.

Then, the gift can be filled with money and then given away.

Alternatively, the frog can be covered on the backside with foil (lamination foil, windmill foil, etc.).
