How to apply settings in Studio/XCS

Precautions

Wear goggles that match the wavelength of the light source.

When opening covers or using open equipment, always wear laser safety goggles that match the wavelength of the light source. Different light sources (blue light/infrared/CO2/UV) have different wavelengths, so please be sure to identify whether the wavelengths protected by the goggles match those of the laser.

Confirm the fire extinguishing equipment is in place before cutting.

Before starting to cut, place a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher or fire blanket within one meter of the equipment in an easily accessible location. There is a risk of ignition from flammable materials such as wood and acrylic.

Flammable materials should be placed close to the smoke exhaust outlet.

Flammable materials such as wood, paper, and fabrics should be placed near the smoke outlet, allowing sparks and smoke generated during processing to be quickly extracted, reducing the risk of ignition.

Handling when a fire alarm goes off

When processing combustible materials such as plywood, acrylic, and polyester mesh, if a flame alarm is triggered: immediately stop processing, maintain smoke extraction operation, and only open the cover after confirming there is no open flame. Do not directly open the cover to fuel the fire.
